If you haven't seen it in the popular press yet or heard it on the news. Vermont has passed the first state law required foods with GMO (Genetically Modifed Organisms) included to be listed on label. This is just my rant but I think we are opening a can of worm here. In my view GMOs are poorly named for acceptance by the public and secondly I feel GMOs are the next step in breeding more productive plants. Without improved productivity world wide feeding the ever increasing world population is going to be very hard. The warm and fuzzy Norman Rockwell images of small scale farming is not going to sustainably feed the world.
